Does your ERevo have the new Traxxas carriers introduced on the Platinum Revo? Part # TRA5334R. They're the ones with the metal ring around the pillow ball hole. They also use a bigger outer bearing. If not then get them, they are cheap and work great. If the 5334R are the ones you're running and managed to pop pillow balls through them then you might need to go heavy duty with RD Racing carriers. The suggested RPM carriers are fine if you don't have the Slayden steering mod done. With the Slayden mod, the RPMs pop pillow balls too. I use the Traxxas 5334R and I have the Slayden mod done and I still have to pop a pillow ball after a full season of racing and bashing. Tekno also came out with their own carriers that have aluminum reinforcements around the pillow ball hole. I never tried those.

No brain, no headaches.

The Steve Slayden's steering mod
It's simply a few little modifications you can do to get the maximum steering throw from your Revo. But it does come at the expense of pillow balls popping out if you don't have some kind of reinforced carriers like the 5334R from Traxxas or the expensive RD Racing ones.
