My guess is that they'll probably be using the same lithium cells as the ones found in the Tesla since one of the co-founders designed the Tesla battery system. They should look for more powerful cells.

I'm not a huge fan of bikes. I will make an exception for this ONE.

Looks pretty sweet. I want one. In 2010 most of the major manufacturers are bringing out electric dirt bikes and I want one of those too.

Savage: FLM Conversion, 6s, MMM, CC 1520.
Mini-T Pro: Micro Pro 6800kv, Lipo, HS-81mg, Dirt Hawgs
M18MT: Quark 33A, Y22S 6000kv, FP 2s Lipo
LRP S8-BX: RC-M Conversion, Tekin RX8 B1600KV, 6S.

Gonna take more than 150mph to get me to give up my 12r... 195 mph so far on it... 150 is like going backwards. The 12r still gets 30+ mpg, but I never ride it these days, no riding buddies...

You hit 195,and I wouldn't want to ride with you either , I have this thing against seeing dead people. But really I guess I would look at it like this,The 3.3Revo goes 45 out of the box,the E-revo brushless ,more like 40.But it's a far cry from going backwards. :p

I don't know why anyone would talk bad of this. Do we not remember KillaCycle? Worlds fastest bike, powered by a123's? It's a good starting point, and savvy individuals could certainly gain top end speed, obviously just less runtime. I already miss 2 strokes though, as mx and snow'biling is going 4 stroke. Eventually it'll be like, "remember gas engines? Yeah, they were wild!"

I only wound it up to see how fast it would go, let off after a mile or so (2o seconds). It is almost serene at that speed... wind does not seem much worse than 150mph, but the visual input is very cool and demanding at the same time. I definately had a bit of tunnel vision, and very stong focus!
