I have never run nitro, but growing up I always wanted to. Now that I have my foot in the door on electric R/C I doubt that I will ever run nitro. BL is just so much easier and I already have the all electric stuff now anyway. So I guess I will just have to stick with it now. I will say from everything shared in here that nitro is just not worth the trouble considering how easy it is to plug and play with BL and battery power. Good luck with your struggles.

This is such a cool thread! Thanks for posting it! I am so looking forward to when my son can start running with me! Well, that is the double-edge sword isn't it? You don't want them to grow up too fast, but yet they make such a good buddy to play with! None of my friends are into RC, so I play by myself at this point. My son will be 4 in June, and I will be looking to get him something to start with soon, other than the toy RC junk he has had.

Again, great thread! Thanks for posting, from one Dad to another!

HAPPY TIMES FOR SURE. Hey thanks for checking our thread out. I am excited with everything that has happened up to now. It was a terrible loss for my kid to loose their mom, but I have wanted custody of my kids from the start, and I am finally getting to live my dreams. It really is a great thing to share R/C with each of them. Now they are hounding me to complete my projects so we can get out and bash/race together. My own cheerleading squad I guess. I wish every father this kind of success with their family. It really is great to have them all involved in what I love to do.
