Was performance better?

I bet you have at least a 1/4" there to thread a screw into.

I'm not sure, I only ran it on 18/86 gearing (same as my 5700) and only ran it on 3s lipo. It was very powerful but so was the 5700, hard to say. If this motor is shot I'll most likely get a 50-3300 Medusa to replace it, I have one in my CRT .5 and it moves that thing along without effort.
