i cant believe i could have bought a computer power supply for 40 to use instead of the 120 i spent on the novak n-power.

It sure is a great deal! I haven't read anything bad about. I have read that it will hold its voltage well to its rating. But, it is cheaper to mod a computer PS if you happen to have a spare case laying around (like I did).
