Al p2 rockers or plastic

I will be running p2's. I know the plastic ones are cheap, but are the AL really worth it or should I leave them as a " weak " point as they are easy to fix...? I plan on getting titanium turnbuckles and pins as well. I have rpm carriers, but I am considering the AL ones to color match my scheme.

My next question for you 3.3 owners is the transmission upgrades. I have the Traxxas center diff already in it... I will probably ditch reverse for simplicity reasons. What gears do you all recommend..wide ratio, etc. as well as which ones to change to metal.
