I am using 2 x 7,4v. Maxamps 6000 mah. lipos.
Ok the MMM should be the best solution? How about the Losi Xcelorin, or is it more suitable for 1/8 buggies?

Xcelorin is not a very good system. You should invest in new lipos though, MA packs are not good at all. Get some RCM 2s 5200mah hardcases.

+1 to all that, but i have heard the losi systems are pretty good with the software update.
