I have an Rc18 also,IMO I would stay away from the Mamba motors especially the 8000, I am running a Hyperion 5000kv yc-22 with 3s that I am getting pretty good results with...you get pretty good at rebuilding diffs.

On rcu we pretty much decided the best 18th scale motors are Neu 11xx, then Medusa 28mm, then ammo 28mm. Anything else is less. Including hyperion. Sorry to go off topic.

I say play with your revo until you get tired of it. Maybe a speed run car should be next?

i have the same motor, but having installed it yet. im also running 3s. whats your gearing and how fast mph?

well, if i were you, i would at least fix the rc18 so that its running. i hate to leave any of my rc's out of commision. the minis are cool , cus they are super convienant. plus you can play them at a very small size area where you would not be able to have any fun with 1/10 rc's. and also, they are a lot quieter, so that you can play that late night hehe.
but yea, i would just put that mug back together, then work on a 1/8 truggy.
