I thought about going to 30K centre, just incase the heat is coming from the front unloading too much. I suppose anything is worth a go as I can't see myself doing a 45min race with those temps after 20mins and only going half throttle. I am going to order a RCM mount so the 48 stock nitro spur can fit in without milling the chassis

This would put a much less load on the motor and in turn hopefully cool things down aswell, just means I will be metal to metal on the spur and pinion
The air scoops I was picturing in my mind were similar to what you see on jet fighters, I thought not only would it suit a purpose, but look cool too
