Nope, as long as the nitro and enrichment fuel are applied correctly is will be fine. A 50-75 hp setup would be fine for a stock motor. That is why I suggest the ZEX setup, pretty much idiot proof in its design and operation.

All nitrous does is contain more oxygen per unit volume than air. So it is the equivalent to supercharging (either with a blower or a turbo), except it adds oxygen by replacing the air with more oxygen rich nitrous, instead of compressing the air as a supercharger does.

More power takes more fuel, and the electric pre MAF blower units will only ever be able to max the MAF out so that it adds more fuel. If you force more air in than the maf can accurately read you will run lean and that is when engines go poof.

Very interesting. I always heard that if thier was carbon inside the engine while injecting nitrous that it will literally eat your engine from the inside out.
