I'm overwhelmed guys. There are so many thoughts and feelings I'd like to share with you all. I'll try to get them out in a manner that makes sense, but no promises

I was raised on a small hobby farm in rural MN, my parrents are very down to earth people. Most of you know I was paralyzed at the age of 22, and between that and my upbringing, I consider myself to be just an average nice guy. I try to be self reliant and only ask for needs, and never wants, and I don't ask anything of my friends, whom I consider you all to be.

When my parents told me what you guys were doing for me I was absolutely blown away. First, just knowing that you guys were thinking about me was awesome to hear. And then, to find out you pooled together to buy me my first brand new computer I've ever owned, well, words can't describe how much that meant to me, and how helpful it was at the time.

I was still in a nursing home (I'm back in my apartment now) and was literally at the lowest point I have been in my life. I was verbally abused, neglected and hungry the entire time I was in the nursing home. (I'm okay, I'm over it, and not looking for any sympathy, I'd rather just put it behind me so lets not talk about that, okay?) And having to deal with that on top of over a year of bedrest I have been on was just too much at the time. I was questioning humanity and what the RCM family has done for me has restored my faith in people. I know that probably sounds cheesy, but I really am a sensitive guy, and the sentiment was very needed.

So, from the bottom of my heart, thank you everybody. Of course, I'm typing this post on my new laptop, and it is awesome! Chris (Arct1k) has loaded it up with music, movies and pictures, and of course the castle creations software is already installed. I'm still figuring it all out, and I'm having a blast doing it.

I wish I could do something for all of you, and if I ever get the chance I certainly will. Until then, I'm trying to catch up on what I've missed and will soon start posting my nonsense again. Peace! -Harold

Keep your head up brother. I know you've said not to bring it up, but I'm the type of guy who hates MOFOs who treats nature's gifts in a bad way, so let me know the address and some type of description of those F****ing bastards and if my daughter goes for vacation to Florida, I'll have something nice to do . We are here for you and everyone (Actually not everyone. Someone (Not going to mention his user name) from the UK said something in regards to my daughter in a youtube video that pissed me off and I'll won't ever forget, so if he ever reads this, just hope I never see you).

Now just be careful, lincpimp said he loved your tattoo .

I think you got that wrong. I believe linc said nice tattoo, and I love you. We all know how he has been trying to get Harold into a dress for so long. I think he has a wheelchair fetish of something.

Your very welcome. - 03.27.2009, 09:33 PM

I think that you could tell by this thread that we agree with you Harold about you being a nice guy. Otherwise we would not have gone that far. Your a good man, and we can tell that life has not treated you quite right. That's ok though because We are all here to watch out for our own. We know that we cannot solve all of the problems in the world, but doing this was surely doable. You deserve it Man. Life can be pretty cruel sometimes, but you just have to let the crap roll off your back and keep pusing forward. I am sure that we could all share some really horrible crap about our lives. Maybe in another thread later... The things is that we all have to find a way to continue moving in a more positive direction, and you seem to be doing just that. We just wanted to give you a little boost. It was truely our pleasure Sir. You have a great weekend Harold and now we expect to see you in here quite often, especially hammering James just because he needs it. Later Bro.

Ah come on Jame's. No more than any of your posts are taken out of context.. Life is good, and we have a good bunch of guys here that make daily life something that one can laugh at for sure. I think I must open this site at least 10 times each day just to check out what's new, or just what funny replies have been posted to something that I either read earlier or commented on myself. I like the lite hearted sense of humor most of seem to share here on RCM, along with all the great information that just seems to flow from some of the quirky, nerdie, funny, and even intelligent people who visit here on a daily basis. Harold is in the top ten percent of that list of gentlemen who reside here on most days. Now lets not dwell too much on Harold being gone for so long, and lets see some new posts about that CyberMaxx young man. Truly welcome back to the nut-house Paralyzed.
