Do you think it's worth me doing the same for a MBX5T on 6s? I was thinking 1800KV or thereabouts would be ideal.

I prefer 1600 kv for 6s setups... 1800 is a bit close to 40k rpm... And that can cause gearing issues in some vehicles.

Good to know, thanks for the info. I thought that I may have bought something from them a while back... I do know they have been around for a while!

I have bought 2x 3s, 2x 2s and a 5s 30cs from him, cool dude ! had them within 3 days all wired up and wrapped in styrofoam ready for me to mess up, all 15 cells are great and run like new, I charge and balance everytime with a 610iduo, 50+ runs and going good

Good to hear. Can't wait, that motor and lipo will go in the muggy...

The only thing that's freaking me out now is that I don't see any packs on Neu's website that match the measurements that were listed on the 3s 5000mah packs I bought.

They had the length listed at 142mm on Flydma for the pack... but I don't see a match anywhere.

I believe you bought the car version of the packs, which is a shorter length and taller height pack.

btw I wanted that motor (2d with the gearbox) so bad! post pics taking it apart & shizzle. I want to see that gear box, does he have more, whats that shaft like ? 2d is a sweet motor, the D just has some low end grunt to me
