so I finished the conversion and I was lucky I didnt have to do any rework with the wiring(desolder, resoldering) I am using 2 Flightpower 5s 3700 cells in series so the battery side is heavy around 950 grams. Iam not a racer so I will see how it goes but I would like to get a couple of 5s 2500 packs to get a better weight balance on the chassis

Yep, a smaller lipo weight will help... Get the neu 2500 cells, you can arrange them as 2 5s packs end to end, as they are only around 100mm long.

thats a bit long for my battery tray, its just under 170mm long I was going to place them on top of each other....maybe I can cut the end of the tray to accomodate laying them end to end
