I just tried this new vegemite yesterday. I wasn't expecting to like it cause I'm a big fan of the original and not the other 'mites. My wife spread it thinly on a slice of bread and then on crackers..... I can't say it tasted much at all.
I had it again tonight and I slapped it on 3 or 4 times as thick. After that experience I can safely say I'll never buy it again. It has vegemite flavor but is close to tasteless. I reckon it's purely a marketing ploy to appeal to the larger population. Possibly a good move for Kraft but it's just not OKA..... and neither is Kraft.
