Lowes hardware has these really nice aluminum locking electronics tool cases, they come with the foam pull aparts, but I took it the next step and added a hard foam board, trimmed it out to custom fit all my gear, and then added adhesive backed felt to the liner.

Ahh, it was like $24-$25 for the case at lowes.
