Well, i went over ben's and we decided the best way to do the steering is with a 1/4 scale servo. we didnt have one, so we decided on this setup for the jeep.
1x MMM, 4s, connected to stock motor. Now take that and double it for the other side as well! we set it up for a tank-drive style steering, locked the rack and pinion steering in the front and there ya have it! it is pretty fast for the tires being plastic and the ground being wet. we plan to improve on that soon. The greatest part is that the jeep just magically pivots around the rear wheels! will post pics and vids as soon as they upload |
