yeah go with what ^^^^^ said.

i built a revo for my friend using the 2200 combo.
we run 6s but geared it for only 40mph.
so we get UBER cold temps and a resonable speed.
so 6s isnt automaticly as crazy as everyone seems to think,,,just tame it down and it's a much more efficient setup.

It must wheelie like mad on 6s geared for 40 MPH. I had a converted Revo and I ran a 1515 1.5D on 4s with 22/62 gearing and I could wheelie it at about 40 MPH. The 2200 is a good motor for the Revo, but I'd keep it to 4s unless you want to spend a lot of money fixing it (I blew a diff in under an hour on 4s, and it was properly shimmed).

All I ever wanted was an honest weeks pay for an honest days work.

not at all...
there's this cool thing called "punch control" and "throttle curve"

just tame the power and put it where u want...and you'd never know...and on hte + side...there's power avaliable when u need it (magor correction after a crap jump) and uber cool temps.

and as for blowing diffs...unless you wanna bulletproof your drive terain (w/ RCM 1/8th diffs) thjen drive MMM and revo friendly, dont mash the throttle so hard unless u use punch control.
i have NEVER blown a diff EVER...even on 6s...the only people i see who blow diffs are running 4s and have the punch control as their finger...and they have lead fingers. so go figure

6s is a MUCH better setup IMO but u have to tame it down some to save the car, remember...the benifits of 6s is not only speed...but cool running and reserve power too!!!!
