I know that the savage is a really durable truck, mea nd my dad both had one a few years ago, this was back when they still made the Savage 21. They were really strong and endured endless abuse. However, they were an absolute nightmare to work on due to the TVP's. My RB323 Revo took quite a bit of abuse aswell, but I never put it through nearly as much as the savage because I didnt own it very long.

The only two things that worry me about the savage are:

Runtimes compared to the Revo, when you consider its weight.

Its got a stupid price tag here, it's £615 ish, which is the same as buying two standard E-Revo's, a chinese takeaway for dinner, and a DVD to watch while I eat it.

if your use to nimh's you'll be happy with the runtime on either truck. the cost is a moot point when you consider you will need to upgrade the revo. can I get some of that chinese take away?

The BL E-revo is going to run you the same $, if not a little more (they still make two versions, one BL and one with Titans).

My runtime with my Flux is about the same as my converted Revo (MMM/1515 2.5D). The difference in gearing seems to make up the difference in weight.
Linc is correct in the Flux is going to require far fewer replacement parts. I've done things with mine already that would have destroyed my Revo.

Losi 8T 1.0, Savage Flux - XL style, LST XXL, Muggy, 3.3 E-Revo Conversion and sitting outside 425hp, 831 Tq Dodge Ram Turbo Diesel. It SMOKES
