Yeah, to be honest it should go to someone from the UK, because what I got it for was about Trade price + VAT (predicted), RRP would have been about $650 (equivalent). You get stuff so cheap in the US!

The battery tray is 175mm long (might stretch to 178mm - that is absolute maximum though!). Width is 46mm and you can have practically any height due to the bodyshell design.

Spur is a 40T, and you could fit probably up to a 44/46T in there - main problem though is that it uses very small diff cases (short ones), you'd be hard pressed to fit a bigger one in there - it also uses small outdrive bearings.

This has made a lot of people very angry and has been widely regarded as a bad move.

thanks. My battery is 165mm and I just wanted to make sure it will fit. not sure about the diff. Really want to see if mikes slipperential will fit. If not I would like to try a losi smartdiff. I know they make down to a 43t for that.

Have fun with the buggy and let us know how it holds up. I will be waiting for mine.

Nice! Can you measure the distance from the face of the motor mount to the radio box?

80mm exactly - though there will be no room for motor wires.

There is a 43T crown gear and 11T pinion - so 3.909...

I don't think you would be able to use a smart diff either - it's not the spur gear size that's the problem, it's more that the diffs are so short - the entire centre diff (spur gear to diff case bottom) is only 18-19mm long!

Nice specs, looks like they used a hyper 12 center diff, means there might be a plastic option for the >5 class cars

Work because i gotta, play because i wanna

People here hate Nitro, I love it. I start it, run it about 50 ft from me and it dies, I go after it. Perfect exercise

The body is just the nitro one, disappointingly. I was expecting something far narrower - so I'm going to make side guards or an undertray out of lexan, otherwise my electrics won't stay clean for very long. Hopefully some aftermarket manufacturer will come up with a 'proper' electric one.

I haven't seen a body for this buggy. It must be pretty thin given no mudguards. Is there a body/any pics?

its not a conversion, its the production Hyper 9E that we will ge over here in the USA soon.

What is the smallest pinion you think will fit with the stock spur gear?

Kind of sucks they didn't do a better fitting body or at least include mudguard setup.

I reckon an 11 or 12 T on the safe side. I'm using a 15T, which appears to be spot on with the speed calculator. It could easily go closer, so you could even maybe get a 10 or even a 9T on there.

Yes I like it. I want it. I ordered it. I am impatiently waiting for it.

As a side note. Nitrohouse now updated there site. says expected 4/22 . Now my tekin system better be here when the buggy arrives. Lhs back ordered the buggy awhile ago so I should be able to get one on the first shipment.

oh and its gixxer, as in the suzuki(gsxr) motorcycle. the way you wrote it, I am not really sure.
