Damn it! You're most probably right. I just think it would be awkward looking (lay it out and see) and I like the symetry of an e-maxx tranny and I really wanted to use the word behoove.

J/K, but I am not sure if the chassis is wide enough to drop the emaxx tranny into. I would go with a single motor myself, behind the tranny, with a battery tray/servo mount up front.

Here's a conversion Tony did a little while ago, good place to start for ideas. I think it turned out pretty good. We have two of these trucks sitting on the shelf that nobody's buying, I keep eying (spell check says that's how you spell eye-ing, weird) them up for a build, I have some ideas for it, but no money for those ideas. Oh well, good luck on yours!
