you hit the nail on the head. i couldn't tell the front was ballooning on the 8ight i was using because i was using those new thick rubber tires from losi that don't balloon until you hit 100mph. (new losi rally tires)

here's a pic:




so i put the stock tires back on and tried it again. the front tires got so big i thought they were gonna blow off the rim. the rear stayed normal sized.

he said running 6S geared as big as i was with a motor the size i was on 7K diff fluid using was why it was slipping so bad. it was over-powering the center diff.

He suggested trying 30K, so i'm gonna give that a go. Thanks for the advise everyone, much appreciated.
