Hey Kcaz25, where did you get this center shaft and what length are you using?

Nice... How did you like the fit? Is that a hex screw sticking out of the drive cup... Do you have too much play/movement with the shaft?

Yeah on both ends. There are other options for solving this problem, but I think this will work nicely.

Umm...I wouldn't do that. Just use some o-rings in the drive cup...

those screws might cause a ton of friction which will heat up your drivetrain some, o-rings would be the best solution.

The problem with nitro's these days are that they arent brushless... LOL

I was thinking about the excess vibration it may cause too... would simple rubber/foam inserts work by having them push out on to the shaft?

Rubber and or foam would work, i personally used gas tubing in between the output shaft and driveshaft and never had a problem.

Yeah Mark showed those to me on that other forum. Ever since then they've been bookmarked on Tower. I will order them eventually. (Sometimes I get tired of having the same conversations on more than forum. I'm thinking of dropping TRX for this reason and the TRX E-Maxx forum with the exception of a few great Aluminum Maxx projects (mine included) is just full of sad noobs now. And I've kinda graduated from that whole scene) I have gotten a chance to run the truck since the last couple of mods including the monoblock because I'm still waiting on the True Tracks. They should be here this week! VIDS

Thanks Krawlin! Well I'm not quite as handy as you are, so when ever I can get my hands on an RCM CD and mount! whether I have to custom order it or just order it off the site, I will have one! I gotta keep up with the truggies some how! Namely my cousin Brian's 8T! "Blah blah a MT will never hang with a truggy" I don't wanna hear it!

Here we go courtesy of
