I have a buddy who races a revo. He's been using aerosticks for awhile now and hasn't had 1 problem. He does through some shrink tubing over them to protect the natural finish but there strong as nails!

Get the new gmaxx straps. I like them way better than the older ones. Wider and longer plus stronger. :D

Peace!

you should also get some velcro so you can put it across the batteries width way and around the chassis, thats what i do and the batteries stay there so much better, and theres less stress on the one strap in a tumble or crash

I actually did Basketti, but I used a plastic zip/wire tie around the batts and it snapped that as well!

yep that be the ones john. I have them for my gmaxx. They seem to fit and hold alot better than before. They are 1/4 inch wider. They seem to be longer with more velcro holding it together. I give them 2 thumbs up. :D

Say, Johny, are the arms bent or is it the bulk that got twisted?

I don't believe either. I think it is because the arm popped out of the hinge pin is what is making it look bent as you can see in the pic below. I will know more when I start to take it apart over the next few days.
Also, it's kinda hard to tell from this pic, but the front titanium skid got bent as well. I'd say about a good 4-5mm bent.
Thanks.

Impressive damage there. I have a bent Ti skid too, it's the very devil to bend back.

Here's an interesting approximation: If you crash at only 30mph, it's the same impact as if you would drop the truck from the 3rd floor....
