I would say that the actual braiding of the wires would help the most. The metal hose covering may also. Never used the metal hose covering, but I have had success and have heard of others having success with braiding the wires. I'm sure I will be dealing with the same issue when I attempt to run my Savage with AM...

Personally, I would go to an area you feel safe and test. An area with not much interferance, and maybe even a fail safe or something (not sure if you could use one with BL). I would test that metal tubing, you never know, it may work? It also looks sick.

I would also really take a look into some used Traxxas 2.4ghz deals. Or one pulled from the new E-revo BL. It seems to be a great radio, with built in fail safe, too.
