I agree Road Rages suck, balloon bad and have a weak sidewall.

My buddy runs the Dirt Dawgs and they are lots less balloon prone than many out there. Not sure how they'd do over 40 mph tho.

You'd have a choice of compounds, soft and medium- he runs medium and they are super sticky- they have nice thick sidewalls and are wearing very well.

Alright, maybe Pep Boys 1:1 tire prices

For a speed setup- no better way. Think about having a gear constant and not variable, may cost some speed but handling would be consistent and traction as well... don't seem like nukular rocket physics to me......
