I've seen people using those regulated power supplies, but with A123 cells. I know they are CC/CV or CV/CC and you can set the required voltage and AMP you want to charge your packs at.

I know you can link up 2 of the 610I chargers to do up to 12s. I am sure you can do the same for the 720I. Not sure if you can link them to charge a 6s pack at 500+ watts though...
