Yes theoretically its possible to flip the tranny, but not only does that create the issue of making a longer shift rod and possible interference with items on the truck, but it puts the weight further to the rear. Right now the batts are already pretty far back, and would like to keep it as close to neutral as possible.

I think I am just going to mount it behind a battery tray with two small fans on the top, hopefully that does the trick.
