You were right linc just ran the revo with what was left of the batteries for maybe 5mins came in imediately and hooked up the data logger, temps are
Motor: 130 F ESC: 95/100 measured in 2 spots Batteries: 90 on both thanks linc for the suggestion, now this makes me wonder, is it possible to step up the gearing to cool it off further and increase speed if even by a little? |

It's possible. Just don't go overboard, if you do you will have worse heating issues than before.
