I am prepared to drop 1,500 easy. I just need one truck out so the other can come in without my wife barking too much.

Again, I am not building a truggy that I expect to run 80 mph everyday, just more like if I wanted to...I could. I have a ton of money in my Savage already (ok all my rigs)so it is nothing new to lose my ass on another toy lol.

here is my Savage:

Like I said, 1521 1y on 6s lipo with a hv110. Then you can go up on voltage up to 10s for more speed. I would suggest gearing down a bit if you plan to go up to 10s.

Why not go with a Jeti SPIN200. It works perfect with a pistol radio and it can go as high as 14S lipos. If you're interested I still have one for sale, just PM me for a price lol.

ok so 1521 1y and HV110. Lutach, I was talking to you on RCT about your ESCs/ MBX5T. What is a jetispin?

I need a pistix? for the HV110...... where can I buy one of those and how does that work? Does the Turnigy unit require a pistix?

Thanks for the help thus far, I appreciate it. Now.... what Truggy to choose is another thing. I like the Mugen MBX5-6, Losi 8ight 2.0 is suspect to me considering their quality drop off, and the D8T is honestly too ugly for me. I thought the 8ight 2.0 was ass ugly but that HB takes the cake.

I am really looking for the truggy with the most hardcore diffs/ drive train without NEEDING to do crazy diff swaps, or DIY mods that are a pain to replicate.

The newer truggies are lighter and I think that is important to brushless performance and wear, but if the weight drop = weak parts then I'll pass on that.

What do you guys prefer....tekno kits or RC monster stuff? (no bias please lol... I need honesty). THANKS!

The JETI SPIN200 is one of the most powerful ESC on the market. I still have my smoked HV110.
