Hmm, 14 eh? On one hand, I'd say to keep what you have because A) resale value on this stuff is not great, and B) when you do get back into it, you'll already have something. But OTOH, if you get back into the hobby later on, parts support for the current stuff will be very hard to come by, not to mention the advances by then.

Either way, I'd wait a week or two before making the decision. No good decisions are made quickly.

Dude, don't sell your shit, you'll regret it. I regret it selling my very first E-Maxx, hydro boat, rock crawler, etc...

Sure times are rough and you want a real car. You have 2 yrs to save for it, you can't drive until then anyways. Get a small job and save what you make. Then if you are still tempted by R/C, then set aside a portion of your earnings and save the rest. The portion should be appropriately named "Yes, I'm still 'always dreamin' for my R/C's"
