Yeah, this was one of my biggest reasons for buying this thing.

Not only have I generally been wanting a (capable) mini after selling my 18T (I loved the 18T, but it was just too finicky on anything other than pavement cause of the ground clearance), and the E-Revo seemed to fit the bill perfectly.

Furthermore, I've been meaning to just buy a bashing truck (I never ran my G2R or CRT.5 in the snow out of fear that the cold and moisture would cause too much damage too easily), but all of the waterproof Traxxas models were either brushed or 2wd. But this little mini fits perfectly - 4wd and brushless!

However, knowing that the stock electronics would probably not be up to my standards, I have already gone ahead and purchased a Neu 1112/2D (3250KV) and plan to run this on 4S lipo in conjunction with my spare Mamba Max (overkill ESC wise, but I already have one so it doesn't cost me anything to run it). I will be reserving the Traxxas system for wet weather running (during which I will run it on 2S2P rather than 4S).
