You guys seem to know a lot about the Lightning trucks. I have a Lightning GT10 Sport myself and i have a few problems with it. I already lost a dogbone twice. The first time is was explicable because I broke the upright. But the second time the upright was OK. I was driving it and I realized that the rear wheels weren't driven. When I inspected it the dogbone was gone. The replacement part was exactly the same as the original.

The second problem is that the steering servo can hardly handle the wheels. Is it possible to add a second servo or is it better to replace the servo by a stronger one?

Any help would be appreciated.

Great write up and tips (especially the servo saver), not many guys own a
LS10. It's good to see. Hope you don't mind me posting a few pic of mine in your thread ?
I'm was running a 4600 Mamba motor but the weight of the the little tank was a bit much, found a 2300kv Turnigy BL motor at "HobbyCity" for 22bucks. Great motor and it doesn't even break a sweet with the M.M. and 3s. It's ben a great little truck and handles decent, not as tough as I'd like but I just try not to kill it. I like the look of the Slash wheels and tires on the LS10.
Thanks for looking.

I retired from RC, now life is all about guns and long range shooting.
