In red I have circled the clip he is referring to:
 The same clip is used on the nitro Revo:  The nitro Revo has a spot on the chassis where this clip goes, and the E-Revo does not. I tried to locate where it fits on the E-Revo yesterday but I came to the conclusion that this is an error on the part of Traxxas. |

Thats new for me ? I just had the diffs out on my EREVO and replaced with alum cups and cases w/Robinson gears and I didn't see this part in mine ? I have a 3.3. Revo also but haven't had to take it apart yet ?
Hopefully someone will chime in with more information ? |

That part is built into the erevo chassis. On the nitro revo it clips on.
