I like having the mechanical brakes and front/rear bias option so I didn't bypass that great option w/ the tekno brushless kit. I did mount my ESC up on a top plate that works perfect in the 8ight-t 1.0, it maybe tight w/ the new body style of the 2.0. This keeps the ESC VERY protected as we quite often are running in muddy conditions. I would stay far away from the electri-clutch, but that's just me, I've had two of them break and cause my motors bearings to fail because of it so I only run long shank pinions now and love it, ZERO issues. (these are really old photo's)
