MMM in Slash - Question - 06.19.2009, 10:06 AM

Well after toasting the stock XL5 speedy I needed something to throw in the Slash.

I am only running stock corr so 2s Lipo and the Titan 550 is a must, my question is there is talk of running in the wet and I am curious how the MMM will fare. Is there anything I can do to protect it? Ie RTV gasket (silicone) around the bullet connectors on the board and try and seal it the best I can? How do these go with "splash damage" with muddy water, obviously I won't be playing submarines or anything.

PS, the Titan 550 hammers on 3s with the MMM, do you think the speedy would have any issues running say an E-Maxx Titan on 3/4s? At least until I get my VXL motor fixed (end cap and bearings)

the MMM will run the pair stock titans 4s easily, you could also sneak 5s on there and watch it rip, but dont expect the motors to last very long....

You reckon the stock E-Maxx titans on 4s would be an improvement on the Titan 12t on 2s?
