The hidden scrolls on the Neu 2200 series motors. - 06.29.2009, 01:58 AM

has anyone else seen this or heard aobut these unreleased Neu motors? i got this from Steven at offshoreelectrics.com. i have a 2215 and a 2230 coming this week for my 1/5 since i am not sure which will be the best motor but if that 2220 or 2225 series was actually available that would have been the easy choice. i know some of you out there are in direct contact with Steve Neu and just wondering if you have ever heard any news on these other 22xx's.

I knew there was talk and testing of some new 22xx series but no definite numbers. Thats good to know tho. May open up a lot of options in 1/5 scale as well as in the boating world!

CC has had the 2215 and 2230 motors listed on their "special projects" page for quite some time now. They certainly look beefy enough. Just watch for the 40k rpm max limit on this line...

If anyone is looking for a 2220 1.5Y 750kv, Peter Zicha over on OSE forum is selling a brand new one. Looks beautiful.
