1. mugen parts will be available for a long time
2. mugen is much more reliable - never broke a single mugen part (except once when I was hit by WOT truggy but that was not standard situation and other trucks would end up as pile of rubble)
3. mugen is lighter
4. mugen handles better
5. mugen has better aftermarket support

my finished mugen has RCM motor mount and battery tray and of course slipperential.
with 1mm offset mugen buggy hexes handles like a dream.

the body is metalic white, just a phone camera and too much light :)

nice!!!!

how's the tekin set?

I would put the esc on the steering servo to get the center of gravity as low as possible.

hobao has great stuff, very solid (have a converted hyper7). but I can't imagine that you wont get parts for a mugen, it's just a great brand. even old, used mbx4 get sold on ebay pretty expensive, here in germany (one wantet to get one). these buggies are just great I guess.
