OK, well I have some excellent news for all those looking to rejuvinate thier MRC thunder kings/Baja kings and this will allow you to build this truck just like I have it now.

For the A Arms all you need is stock or aluminum HPI savage arms and a dremmel. I little shaving here and there and you good to go.

For the knuckles and carriers, again all Savage.

The reason for the savage was simple. plenty of parts available and a proven design that works.

Now the gears can be purchased and they are all steel not aluminum from RC4WD here is the link. Excellent price for a great product that will take a beating and allow you to use brushless set up.

Now I just got off the phone with MiP and they are going to make the Dog bones for this that will allow you to use the Savage drive cups on one end and the MRC trans outputs on the other. They will be 144mm in length which is the perfect size when building the truck like I did and they will be 5mm thick. Now I dont know when they will be ready, but once I get them i'll post it up. after that I think they will be availabe only by calling them personally.

Now one the issue of the Bulkheads. I contacted a buddy of mine at DNA-rc.com they do rock crawlers. They have thier own machine shop and do alot of delrin products. Though I dont have a price as of yet or a definative yes we can do them. I am sending a brand new bulkhead for them to see if they are able to make a stronger design as well as I will send the rear A arms mounts too. It looks very promising and possible at this point and will allow anyone whom owns an MRC thunder king/Baja king to build thier truck to be the same as mine and virtually indestructable.

Right now my build is pretty complete and solid, and like I said years and years of trying this and doing that has seemd to proven its self faithful and worthy. My only sadness is that its not 4WD but then again I am still kicking A$$ on the Flux and E Revo's and I now weigh in at 8.6 Lbs. and am completly centered with the batteries installed.

Here are some of the latest pics, still waiting for my shell to get done before I shoot some vids.

It's not just paint! It's an Attitude!
