Well, it's been a minute since I updated with some pics so here's what it looks like now:

The heart and brain of the monster came in today as well:

So this will be going in sometime this week. Geared at 45t/47t (thanks to Kazuaki's mount) on 6s I should be hitting 100mph with no problem if I can get past the wind factor.

Where did you get those aluminium parts? I saw that STRC but where did you get those pushbars?

The pushrod and turnbuckles are de-anodized Traxxas.

Well I've been running the MMP for a few days. My speed gun comes in today... hopefully UPS leaves it on my door since nobody is going to be home. Anyways here are a few pics of the Neu 1115 mounted with the MMP:

It's a Driven Productions heatsink from TheToyz. The 1st mount is the STRC mount and mount plate. The second mount in the latest pictures with the Neu 1115 is a custom made mount to fit the 47t pinion.

Absolutely stunning build there dude, and it goes like a rocket... a very small rocket...

On the custom chassis front, have you taken a look at this build:

http://www.rc-monster.com/forum/showthread.php?t=23804

I know its aluminium, but the same principles should work for a CF version

Yup! Kaz gave me a lot of insight and has helped me out a lot on this build! The problem I have is the chassis has a kickup in the front and a slight "kickdown" in the rear. I'm not an expert at CF so I'm not sure if it'll be ok to heat it and try to bend it. There's a guy on another forum that made one using the stock upper chassis bolted to a bottom plastic chassis. He just cut off the battery compartments and the surrounding area of the chassis mounts. I might look into that design. It'll be easier but not as "cool" though

On some other news, my speed gun came in today. Now I just need a smooth straightaway and a camera man!

I have no idea on reno. Ive been over there a bunch. But not sure on a big straight. Maybe a parking lot later at night/ early in the morning?

That is such a cool little build. Wish Gmaxx would make a little g3r chassis. Haha
