dammit. i wish i posted this thread before i bought 2 sets of spurs for my rustler haha.
o well. i guess after these shred, maybe they wont this time...then imma switch to jato spur. thanks for the tip fellas!

oh one thing, are these spurs bigger...so im using a 86 tooth spur and a 21t pinion, would i get the exact same with the .32 pitch pinion and spur?
would it fit on the motor mount?

I'm considering doing a 32p conversion too, but I really like my gear ratio at 15/90 for my Mamba Max 5700. What spur and pinions should I get to keep it close to this ratio?

Thanx,
Brijar!!!

blueb8llz: 86:21 is 4.09:1 ratio with a shaft to shaft distance of 22.2mm. A 58T spur and 14T pinion will be really close, but the shaft to shaft distance will be 30.16mm, so be sure that the motor can be adjusted that far.

brijar: 90/15 is 6:1 ratio. The 58T Jato spur and 10T pinion at 5.8:1 is the closest you'll probably get. IMO, 10T pinion is really small, and you'd probably be better off sticking to the 90/15 TBH.
