what are your gearing setup?and what about the timing,punch control??and also the airflow?

Oh yeah, I am running it on 18/68 gearing, no air flow to the motor, should I cut a hole in the body? As far as settings go, everything is factory defualt.

to depend of your outside temp...but open the front window will certainly help (cut)and lowered the timing to minimum.....

i run my e-revo basher with this gearing setup(18/68) and in 28 min of bashing at 87f outside my motor never pass 143f,esc 110,lipo 107f on 6 cell lipo timing lowest,punch at 60% and my body is open front and rear(front windshield and rear)

just lowered the timing will help for sure

Does punch control affect motor temperature that much? I set it to 20%

a bit...lowest punch makes wheel spin more and increasse motor heat
