Those would be close but the tires on those things are still wayy bigger in small scale. BTW if you ever see a monster truck up close they are smaller then you'd think.

Yeah, MT's are not to scale, at all. Tires are almost twice the diameter as the real thing.

Me thinks there is no point in comparing scale speeds... it's like comparing an ant to an elephant... ex. you can drop an ant from 40,000 feet, and it will hit the ground, get up and walk away...... were you to try that with an elephant, you know what happens. This probably isn't making any sense... but all I am saying is that object mass increases much faster than frontal area does (aerodynamics). Full scale cars put the power down much better than our R/C cars, and they also don't look like they are accelerating as fast as something like the size of a 1/10 car, but it's just an illusion... that is, if they had equal power to weight.

Anyways, I'm rambling... kinda tired. let me know if I am making any sense

Yes, makes sense.

this is not a monster truck it's a scale race car, so it's a lot closer perspective, except maybe for weight, but then you have Champ cars that are 1200 lbs, 900 Horse power

I'm just blown away that it's over 3 HP. Now I want to know what the HP is for those 1/5 Zenoah engines , anybody, anybody ? ?

thanks all

IIRC, they something around 3.5hp? But 3hp electric will destroy 3.5hp gas/nitro because of superior torque band.
