Really? The fan in my Savage Flux comes on all the time, yet I have never seen an ESC temp over 100f when I measure it.

Direct the gun from the side to hit the sinks or hit one of the gold motor leads.

Hey Fastbaja5b... you mentioned this in another thread... I thought about this a little more, and I think you might not be temping the right spot. I used to get these low readings too. But after I cut the side grill of and replaced with some HD flyscreen, I find I get a higher reading thru the mesh...
