would castle allow the fan change mod (aftermarket fan) without voiding warranty?

Can you disconnect the standard fan and simply run a 5v fan from the receiver?

Really? The closest thing I could find on ebay was a 3racing 30x30x6 mm fan, and the size of the blades were inadaquate and broke off during the first run. I also tried Fry's Electronics and no fan was even close to the right size.

Some places to try:

http://www.allelectronics.com/make-a...C.-Fans/1.html
http://www.bgmicro.com/index.asp?Pag...S&Category=100
http://www.crazypc.com/products/fans/fansmain.htm

The first two links are more or less liquidation sites, so the selection changes almost daily.
The last link doesn't have 5v fans, nor any as small as 30mm, so may require modding.

Let my picture tell. This Sunon branded fan fits perfectly into my MMM. I got five of those with CNY100(RMB), or 15 dollars, from a local electronic store. It has been working great for 3 months before the MMM stopped response. (it was a V2)
