I ran the Powerstrokes for about two months in my Supermaxx truck and no matter what combination of oil weight and springs I used they just were not able to absorb the landing of a 12+ lb truck with out slamming the chassis to the ground. With the UE shocks you can go with 8 and run heavy springs (blue or black) and a heavy oil and never worry about botteming your suspension out. not sure about your setup or anything but the truck is supposed to bottom out and the powerstrokes are really good at absorbing big jumps....if the truck doesnt bottom out the chances are it will bounce...
