because a 6-pole motor has more torque than a 4-pole, will a 6-pole motor draw less amp's than an equivalent 4-pole motor?

the 2740 motor isn't a 6 pole as stated in the catalog, but it's a 8-pole 45x60 motor...

Are the rotors wrapped with some kind of material to prevent the magnets from seperating at high rpms?
