yeah plus its plastic. cheaper to make. now the nitro aluminum version is $320 and the plastic version is $400 i would rather have a rc-monster convert with a aluminum chassis and a layout for big lipos. it would not pay for hpi to make it more expensive than the nitro... my two cents

I race at Norcal Hobbies in Union City Ca and Both Josh Alton & his brother Jake have been running these alot the last few months. The car seems to work very well. I asked Josh about the chassis weight & he said it was NOT light. The other thing I worry about is the chassis wearing thin quickly.
