Sweet Riley. How the hell did you get that rear freewheel off?

Look at the pic with the freewheel parts. I hit the piece on the bottom with the two holes and japanese letters with a hammer and screw clockwise and it came off. Then there was a set of balls on top of one of those thick rings. I took those out, then there was the ratcheting mechanism. I think I just pulled the cog off at this time. I was able to take the rest of it apart and find alll the other balls. I was left with that piece on the left under the balls in the pic. Seeing that the threads where too big, I put it in the vice and screwed it off, not knowing it would work. It came off no problem! I'm glad it did!!

This is supposedly my motor, but it looks way different and maybe even longer in the pic - http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=5144

this is my controller, but older style - http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=7341

servo tester, which is nice because it has a 5v or 22v input. I just hooked up the pos wire on the 22v input to one of my leads and the ground is in the radio wire that goes to the esc. I love how that works - http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=8373

I personally think 900rpm is better then 600rpm when dealing with a 24 or 26" bike. 6000rpm is way too much and requires a planetary gearbox or 2 stage reduction. Play around with the speed calculator for awhile and you'll agree with me.
