I honestly don't see how the bellcrank assembly on the Gmaxx chassis can cause any more bump steer - it attaches in the same location as the stock Slash and on the same parts(skid and front assembly are stock). The only difference is the uper chassis attachement, which shouldn't have any impact on the steering(unless it binds or something, which is a different story altogether). Please show some pictures - it may be that something is installed differently or incorrectly that is causing the issue.
