Well keep in mind the size of the tires I was running. If you are running standard size maxx tires expect to bump the pinion at least two teeth. (so yes 16/66 would be a good starting point)
I actually thought I would be geared WAY too low with the 14/66 setup, but actually ran the entire time with that setup as it ran pretty well, and the top speed was plenty fast. |
